Introduction
Brainbone LLC ("we," "our," or "us") operates the Tick Ping Go mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our App. By using Tick Ping Go, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
Information We Collect
Tick Ping Go is designed to work primarily on-device. We collect minimal information:
- Sequence data — The timers and routines you create are stored locally on your device. We do not transmit this data to our servers.
- Usage analytics — We may collect anonymous, aggregated data about how the App is used (e.g., feature usage frequency) to improve the App. This data cannot be used to identify you.
- Crash reports — If the App crashes, a crash report may be sent automatically via the operating system or a third-party crash reporting service. These reports may include device model, OS version, and a stack trace but do not include personally identifiable information.
- Purchase information — If you make an in-app purchase, the transaction is processed by Apple. We receive confirmation of the purchase but not your payment details.
How We Use Information
We use the limited information we collect solely to:
- Operate and maintain the App
- Diagnose and fix bugs
- Understand which features are most useful so we can improve the experience
- Verify in-app purchase entitlements
We do not sell, rent, or share your information with third parties for marketing purposes.
Third-Party Services
The App may use the following third-party services that have their own privacy policies. We encourage you to review them:
- Apple App Store — handles app distribution and in-app purchases
- Expo / React Native — the framework underlying the App; no user data is transmitted to Expo
We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party services. Any links to external sites in the App are provided for your convenience; we do not endorse or control those sites.
Data Retention
Your sequences and preferences are stored locally on your device and remain there until you delete the App or clear its data. We do not retain personal data on our servers. Anonymous analytics data may be retained for up to 24 months to identify long-term usage trends.
Children's Privacy
Tick Ping Go is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.
Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights regarding your personal data, including the right to access, correct, or delete information we hold about you. Because we store almost no personal data, the most effective way to exercise these rights is to delete the App and its local data directly from your device.
For any privacy-related requests, please contact us at privacy@brainbone.com.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the App after changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
